Lyn's

Last week we met up with our friend Lyn, who we've known for a while now, ever since we had the 'Rosehip Barn' open at the old house... we had a white clad Barn at the bottom of the garden which we opened up to the public at the weekends, we had all our usual things for sale, everything from brocante, gardenalia , curios, & handmade items, as well as tea & cake too!

Anyway back to Lyn... ever since we've known her she has always had a great eye for finding treasure; from French, rustic  & white, to ethnic, bohemian, to a little pinch of deco...  whether its interior, furnishings, or clothes, she always finds amazing pieces!

So we thought it would be lovely to share a little piece of Lyn's home which she has curated with her husband Barry.

a unique collection of paintings, canvases & prints in the living room. The strawberries are our favourite!

The kitchen with beautiful sunlight coming through the stable door which leads to the garden. A mix of objet d'art, muted tones create a warm & calm atmosphere, it is so lovely in the cooler months when they light the open fire here, so cosy. And I loved this mix of old spoons, with faded tones of golds & silvers. 

Lyn's passion  is clothes and accessories, upstairs is full of amazing pieces which she has sourced from all over, beautiful dressing gowns, silk, chiffon, a hand painted kimono & many vintage pieces...
